A Vacation Back To My Roots
I’ve been all over the world, and it is hard to say that any single trip I have taken was my favorite. Nevertheless, by far my most memorable one was my trip to Italy. My father was born in Tuscany, and he grew up in the mountains in Naples, so this trip had special meaning to me. I even got to see the house where he lived as a child, which was a very emotional experience for me. My father’s house was in the countryside, near the Amalfi Coast. It seemed very quiet and peaceful, especially compared to life in New York City!
I tried to see and savor everything I could while I was in Italy. I went on a wine tasting tour, and I ate a new flavor of gelato every single day. I learned about the architecture and fell in love with the culture, the food, and the whole vibe. To this day and forever, Italy has captured my heart.
One thing that I do and that I recommend to my clients is to keep a travel journal and write down the things you do and all the places you visit each day. Otherwise, even if you take photos, by the time you get home, all of those memories can turn into a bit of a blur. A travel journal helps trigger those memories and ensures that you remember everything you did long after the trip is over.
I have traveled a lot, and that has made me realize that every day is a new opportunity, and nothing is impossible. It is important to cherish each day and be thankful for your blessings.
