Health and Wellness Travel
It is incredibly rewarding for me to share my passion for wellness travel, especially knowing that my client might experience a life-changing benefit from a vacation that I suggested and planned. I vicariously enjoy every trip that I plan that is related to wellness and love sharing my personal experiences with anything health and wellness related, from guided meditation, exercise, health resorts, spas, to healthful food tours.
One of my favorite places for spiritual well-being, exercise, meditation, and overall wellness travel is Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor in Siem Reap, Cambodia, a five-star resort boasting a world-class spa and a huge pool. Cambodia is mostly Buddhist, and Siem Reap is the gateway to Angkor Wat, one of the largest temple complexes of its type in the world.
Another top wellness destination I often recommend is Tucson, Arizona, with its famous wellness resort, Canyon Ranch. Canyon Ranch wrote the book on luxury wellness resorts. I describe it as “magical” because of its setting and special experiences. Its hilltop guided meditation sanctuary is unlike any other, and they offer a full slate of wellness and fitness classes.
Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica offers a very different setting for wellness. The resort is set on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It is known for its world-class tennis facility and remarkable open-air gym with weights and cardio equipment as well as a fitness center with classes in spin, yoga, Pilates, Zumba and more. The food is delicious with healthful options always offered. A top-tier massage staff rounds out the offerings.
Wellness travel takes many forms. Let me help you find the right experience for your next trip.
