Adventures in Vancouver
While my specialty is corporate travel, I have spent so much time in Vancouver, British Columbia that I consider myself a destination specialist for the city. It is difficult to describe without resorting to clichés, because it is such a beautiful and magical destination.
If I could design an ideal itinerary, I would start with a day trip to Grouse Mountain. The Capilano Suspension Bridge is also worth seeing, and for those who enjoy outdoor activities and sports, I would suggest renting a bicycle and exploring. The scenery is simply beautiful.
If you are a spa and fitness enthusiast who is interested in wellness activities, the Shangri-La Hotel regularly earns raves from visitors, as does the Rosewood Hotel Georgia, both of which I can offer my clients exclusive VIP amenities. There is also great shopping to be had along Robson Street, the city’s main thoroughfare. Most of the major designers have stores there, and the Robson Square Civic Centre downtown is an underground shopping mall in the heart of the city which offers no shortage of things to see.
